Heavy Duty Dolley

/

The difference between a moving day that takes four hours and one that takes eight is usually whether you had the right dolly.

This is a commercial-grade aluminum hand truck — the kind delivery drivers and freight handlers use every day, not the wobbly steel one from the back of a big-box store. Rated to 500 lbs, it's light enough for one person to carry up a set of stairs and stiff enough that it doesn't flex and dump your load when you tip it back.

The pneumatic tires are the part people notice. Hard plastic wheels stop dead at a lawn, a gravel driveway, or a door threshold. These roll over all of it, which matters when you're moving a washer across a yard or getting a crated tool up a ramp into a trailer.

The loop handle lets you push, pull, or steer with either hand and gives you a place to hook a strap. The nose plate slides under appliances, crates, pallets of flooring, water heaters, safes, gun cabinets, filing cabinets, and stacked totes.

Aluminum, so it doesn't rust and it doesn't weigh you down. Cheap insurance against a thrown-out back or a gouged hardwood floor.

A note on the photo

Our photos show a representative unit, not a specific one. We keep several heavy-duty hand trucks in the fleet and they aren't all identical — brand, handle style, wheel type, and cosmetic condition vary from one to the next, and units get rotated, repaired, and replaced over time.

What we guarantee is the capability, not the cosmetics: whatever you receive will be a commercial-grade hand truck rated to at least 500 lbs, on pneumatic tires, in safe working order. If your job depends on a specific feature tell us when you book and we'll confirm what we have available rather than letting you find out at pickup.

Before you book

Check your load weight. 500 lbs is the rating for the tool, not a challenge. Tip it back slowly and keep the weight low and centered.

Appliance straps. A hand truck alone won't secure a fridge. If you're moving major appliances, add an appliance strap or ratchet strap at checkout.

Stairs. A two-wheel hand truck can go down stairs with two people and patience. It is not a stair-climbing dolly. Ask us if you need one.

Returns. Hose the mud off if you've been in a field. Normal dirt and scuffs are expected and there's no cleaning fee for them.
