Our name comes from Maine's State motto: Dirigo - Latin for "I Lead," "I Direct," or "I Guide." It is at the core of our philosophy to lead with integrity, give strait forward advice, and help our customers move their projects forward.

Crafted by a U.S. Army veteran and former Arctic Airborne Infantryman from Maine, Dirigo is based on the principles acquired during four years of service in Alaska - Be prepared, work hard, help others, and do your job properly.

Having come back to Maine, the task was rather obvious - to provide easy access to good equipment for homeowners, contractors and anyone tackling projects.
